A. The Gupta golden age resulted in some of the greatest achievements in Indian history.
B. Students from the University in Nalanda learned to question patients about their problem, stitch up wounds, find cures, and become skilled at surgery. Some of these methods are still used today.
C. Gupta literature spread beyond India as far as Persia and Greece. The famous story of Aladdin came from India.
D. The Guptas made great achievments in the areas of painting and sculpture.
V. My Impressions
The Gupta family was a powerful line of leaders. They used good ruling methods and allowed India to enter a golden age, where India could advance in creative areas greatly.
